Reasons: The Appellant has not filed a CMQ but had indicated that they want a hearing on the appeal form. That hearing had been set up. The Appellant has not been in contact with the Tribunal since filing the appeal including to comply with mandatory directions. The “unless order” made it clear that the consequences of non-compliance would be that the appeal is struck out. Tribunal hearing time is a valuable resource and will not be allocated if an Appellant has effectively abandoned their appeal. Signed: District Judge Moan sitting as First-Tier Tribunal Judge Moan Date: 6 th January 2025 (amended under slip rule)
